Hosting account guide
Your account
Each hosting account on ExtraCP is its own isolated Linux user. What you do in one account can't reach another. From the panel you manage everything for your sites.
Domains
Add addon, subdomain, and parked (alias) domains. ExtraCP creates the DNS zone and web configuration for you, and issues a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate automatically.
Create mailboxes and forwarders. ExtraCP sets up the MX, SPF, and DKIM records so your mail authenticates properly. Webmail is available for reading and sending.
Databases
Create MySQL/MariaDB databases and users, and manage them with phpMyAdmin — signed in automatically, and scoped to your own databases only.
Files and SFTP
Manage files from the panel, or connect over SFTP (chrooted to your account). Your SFTP access can't see the rest of the server.
Apps
Install applications like WordPress in one click. Each install gets its own isolated database.
Cron jobs
Schedule recurring commands with the cron manager.
PHP version
Choose the PHP version for your sites (8.3 by default).
Usage
See real disk and bandwidth usage for your account so you know where you stand against your plan.
